The Human Rights Guide is an online human rights education platform which serves as information and education resource and self-help tool. It is part of a multi-stage human rights education programme in several European countries. The Human Rights Guide was founded on the basic ‘right to know their rights’ and its aim is to offer help in understanding human rights in specific situations. It is an on-going project with new themes to be added over time.
The project is managed and maintained by a non-governmental organisation, the Baltic Human Rights Society (referred to as ‘we’ or ‘us’) and contributing partner organisations, authors, editors and translators. By the ‘Human Rights Guide’, ‘this website’ or 'the Guide', we mean the full website and all content, including all the material provided, the structure and the design.
