How can it help you
Services for the blind
SOCINTEGRA provides various services for the blind, including:
- lessons using tactile maps of Riga, Latvia and the world
- development of paper tactile maps of the territory or premises upon request
- development of tactile aids to facilitate learning processes
- organisation of trips, excursions and other events
SOCINTEGRA provides the opportunity to participate in orienteering activities using tactile maps. The classes take place in Riga. Classes must be booked in advance by contacting SOCINTEGRA.
Consultation Centre
SOCINTEGRA provides advice to improve accessibility and inclusion for people with visual impairments, to raise awareness of the needs and challenges faced by blind and partially sighted people and to advocate for policies and practices that promote the rights of blind and partially sighted people and ensure their full participation in society.

- Production of tactile objects (map stickers, Braille signs)
- Development of 3D tactile objects made of plastic, 3D scanning
- Professional audio descriptions, audio installations (audio description)
- Production of interactive tactile displays with sound
- Accessibility expertise consultations
- Training (for audio descriptors, museum educators)
