Information regarding human rights and good governance
If you wish to receive advice from the Ombudsman's office regarding human rights or good governance, you should submit your question to tiesibsargs@tiesibsargs.lv, call 67686768 or visit the office personally (make an appointment beforehand).
Complaints about violations of human rights and good governance
The Ombudsman can investigate complaints about potential human rights violations and the principle of good governance and determine whether your human rights have been violated. Read more about the complaint procedure.
Complaints about discrimination
Where you feel that you have been unfairly discriminated against by a state institution or by a private entity, you should complain to the Ombudsman by submitting an application. The Ombudsman can evaluate whether this type of discrimination has occurred and help you to reach a settlement with the discriminator.
