Basic needs

Basic living conditions must be ensured so that you can preserve your health without it deteriorating while you are in prison.

This means that you should receive proper food, drinking water and fresh air. The prison staff must provide you with clothes and bedding, as well as ensuring appropriate standards of hygiene by guaranteeing access to a toilet and bathing facilities, as well as to toiletry supplies.

About this section

This section will explain in more detail how, and to what extent, the prison administration must guarantee your basic needs.
